2. Gljúfrabúi Waterfall: First stop: Gljúfrabúi, also known as Gljúfrafoss. This hidden gem is nestled within a gorge and partially concealed by moss-coated black volcanic rock cliffs.
3. Kvernufoss Waterfall: Continue to Kvernufoss, another lesser-known waterfall near Skogafoss. Cascading down 98 feet (30 meters) from lava rock cliffs, Kvernufoss offers a quiet and picturesque experience.
4. Seljalandsfoss Waterfall (Optional): If you’d like to include a well-known waterfall, consider a brief stop at Seljalandsfoss. Here, you can walk behind the cascading water curtain for a unique perspective.
